User Agreement

Welcome to Fusion

This User Agreement (the "Agreement") governs your access to and use of Fusion's platform, services, and tools (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or interacting with our community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree with these terms, you may not access or use the Services. This Agreement applies to all account types, including clients and freelancers, and supplements our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Eligibility & Accounts

To create or maintain an account, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Provide accurate, verifiable information when registering and promptly update material changes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Fusion reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement or our policies. We may request additional verification at any time to confirm account legitimacy.

Professional conduct

Communicate clearly, act in good faith, and deliver work or payments aligned with agreed-upon scope, quality, and timelines.

Collaboration

Use Fusion to foster collaborative relationships. Avoid discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behavior at all times.

Security

Protect sensitive information, avoid sharing harmful content, and promptly report suspicious activity.

Compliance

Follow applicable laws, intellectual property rights, and contractual obligations when using our Services.

Payments & Transactions

Fusion facilitates secure transactions between clients and freelancers. By engaging in projects on Fusion, you agree to these payment principles:

  1. Platform-based payments. All financial transactions must occur through Fusion's payment systems unless we authorize otherwise in writing.
  2. Transparent agreements. Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines in writing before work begins.
  3. Dispute handling. If a disagreement arises, use Fusion's dispute resolution tools. We may review communications and agreements to resolve disputes fairly.
  4. Fees. Fusion may charge service and processing fees. By using the Services, you consent to the applicable fee structure.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content, code, or deliverables you create unless otherwise agreed in writing. When you share or upload content on Fusion, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Services.

Clients and freelancers are responsible for defining IP transfer or licensing terms within their contracts. Fusion is not a party to client-freelancer agreements and does not guarantee the enforceability of IP assignments.

Confidentiality

During projects, you may access confidential information, including business plans, financial details, or proprietary methodologies. You agree to:

  • Use confidential information only for the purposes defined in your project agreements.
  • Protect confidential information with reasonable care and avoid public disclosure.
  • Return or destroy confidential materials upon completion of your engagement if requested.

These confidentiality obligations do not extend to information that is public, independently developed without reference to confidential information, or disclosed under legal requirement.

Data & Privacy

We collect and process personal data according to our Privacy Policy. By using Fusion, you consent to our data collection, usage, processing, and storage practices.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data. You agree not to misuse the platform to harvest data, deploy malware, or engage in any activity that compromises user privacy or platform security.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage direct, good-faith communication to resolve project disagreements. If you cannot reach a resolution, our dispute team will review the situation and may request documentation, correspondence, or deliverables to help mediate a solution.

In certain jurisdictions, you may have consumer rights that cannot be waived. Nothing in this Agreement limits those statutory protections. For disputes with Fusion, the governing law and venue will be identified in your locale-specific terms.

  • 3 Consult a qualified professional before relying on legal or tax assumptions.

Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement to reflect evolving legal requirements, platform enhancements, or community needs. When changes are significant, we will notify you through the platform or via email. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting Fusion Support. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach this Agreement, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Services. Certain obligations—such as confidentiality, intellectual property rights, and fee commitments—survive account closure.
